Shane has been speaking to audiences for over 19 years. His first public address was to a small youth group in Oklahoma, where he shared his story. Since then, Shane has seized every opportunity to speak about his passions to audiences large and small around the world. Shane has had the fortunate opportunity to speak on behalf of the United States Olympic Committee, as well as to many other corporations & organizations, helping him become a very sought-after speaker. He has traveled the United States as a speaker for Rachel's Challenge, sharing an anti-bullying and compassion message to teenagers across America, and continues to speak in public and Christian schools, sharing messages of inspiration and motivation, and anti-bullying and peer compassion. While Shane is very passionate about his sport and country, his greatest passion is for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When passionately speaking to businesses and corporations, Shane shares about the life-lessons he gleaned in the competitive world of weightlifting and in training to be an elite athlete. When he enthusiastically ministers in churches and at youth events, he shares testimonies of the amazing miracles God did in and through him, his accomplishments during his American and world record-setting career, as well as the lessons that God has taught him along the way. Shane has several messages, but his most popular message is "The Spirit of an Olympian," which regularly releases faith to accomplish the impossible and is consistently used by God to release tangible miracles in the lives of those in attendance.
